CAMP ALEXANDRA (RESIDENTIAL CAMP)
Community Ventures Society provides a residential summer camp for children who are referred to us by Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, which is the child rehabilitation and development program of BC Children's Hospital.
Every Summer we offer three weeks of "sleepaway" camps that are 5 days each, located at Camp Alexandra on beautiful Crescent Beach in White Rock, BC. Our Camp Coordinator, Joanne Weidinger, and her highly-skilled staff make it their goal to provide safe, fun activities in a positive environment where the focus is on abilities - not disabilities.
Some activities the campers may enjoy include camp fires, entertainment, games, recreation, crafts and swimming in the ocean. We provide a rich camp experience for all the children, many of whom are experiencing their first vacation away from their families and homes.
YOUTH GO, DAY CAMP, WHERE FUN IS CONTAGIOUS!
In addition to our week long camps, we are please to offer "YOUTH GO" Day Camps.

Please note that although Joanne is happy to answer your questions about the Camp, she is unable to register your child for this program as all referrals come to CVS directly from Sunny Hill.
